Midsummer Soap Opera

Sydney & Paula At the Beach House

Paula is uncontrollable, words spill from her
lips as a wild river into the ocean. Sydney's
words are broken sea shells; smaller than
the pieces of Paula's heart. All Sydney dare
do is hold her love's moist face and caress
the trembling body; pleading forgiveness
with shaky hands.

The sun rises, warmth spreads gently
through the lover's bodies, healing their
pain and sealing their love, again.

i snare her tongue
cradle it
to perfection

i snare her heart
cradle it
to love

  3. Wow Nadge, when you say "words spill from her
lips as a wild river into the ocean" I'm speechless, just beautiful. I can't imagine you had to revise anything.

  9. Very intimate, moving and I agree with Amias. The style, the way it's written spills over until the very end when the lovers are united similar to that of a heart-shape coming together.
