Time, passing by Joan McCormick

Midnight ends, darker.
The sky speckles stars.
And dawn unspoiled begins.

Morning, noon, evening,
As light falls into night, lost.
Grays deepen, violets bleed,

And moments are short and breathy.

Beautiful poem. I love the last line "And moments are short and breathy." Beautifully written and well done.
