The 48 Rules of POWER, Robert Greene

This is an awesome book. The "laws" are
great habits to adopt. Also, the little
parables in red make good conversation.

The 48 Rules of Power

#4 - Always say less than necessary. The more you say, the more common you seem.
Basically, you will often have more power
when you zip your lips.

Spiritual truth: Proverbs 2:11 -
Discretion will preserve you.

...

#9 - Win through your actions, never through argument.
Words are a dime a dozen. No one can argue with demonstrated proof.
The truth is generally seen, rarely heard.

Spiritual truth: Proverbs 17:14 The beginning of strife is likereleasing water.

...

#19 - Know who you are dealing with. Do not offend or decieve thewrong person.Learn others. Take into account their pride and insecurities.

Spiritual truth: Proverbs 20:5 Counsel in the heart of man andwoman is like deep water.

More Power Laws will be added along the way. However, pick up this
book, supremely interesting.

chapter 2

gathering up her soft heart
she bade farewell to the holy ideals
bitten deep into her lost youth

silhouette

you are so beautiful, and so long coming undressed

at
the edge
of my heart

a
past lover
lingers,

lilac scented
breath

skin
shimmering
moist in night's
gown,

patient
for her
unveiling

beneath
the moon's glow

why not ?

Please the One who loves you
Reflect on things that are good
Allow yourself to walk in faith
Yield to that sudden joyfulness
Excel using your talent within
Restore a broken heart when you can

On Loving Rain

I'm the highest

note drifting into

your mind

allow me to open up

your sweet cells

one-by-one

and live there

whispering poems on

the tenderest parts

of your flesh

until there comes

a time

when others say

to you:

how are you?

and you'll speak

in lilacs

confessing feelings

as perfect and small

the rain drops

hidden inside your

mauve petals...

open up ...

fear of love
rises with the full moon tide
washes over her starved flesh

if only she would open her heart
as easily as she opens her body
stand blindfolded and believing

falling in a moment's length
into love inescapable
